A beautiful day... to be a Mommy

  Yesterday was Mother's Day and it was one of the most wonderful days I've had in a really long time!!
I was spoiled all day long and I am NOT complaining!! Brian made breakfast and then we were off to
the mall. It was a surprise to me, but it was an awesome one!! We headed to The Body Shop where I
got to pick out some of my favorite things and then off to Wahooz for some family fun!! Melanie loved
this Spongebob game that we found. She also liked pulling the tickets off as they came out. I think that
was more fun for her than the actual games!!
  We stopped at Fiesta Guadalajara for some lunch and then it was homeward bound so that the little
lady could take a much deserved nap!! She slept for almost 3 hours, so I took advantage of some
cleaning time.... I didn't mind it. It needed to be done!!
   All in all, it was a great day and just to spend the day with my family would have been enough, but
Brian really went all out for me and so for that, I say "Thank you Honey!" Who could ask for anything
more!!

We have been having so much fun outside lately!! With all the leaves and the nice weather,

can you blame us? Its nice to soak up a little sun while its still around, too.

I cant wait to get her out in a pile of snow and see what she does!!

A whole year has flown by.... one sweet and rewarding year. 

A year of learning and teaching. Growing and loving. 

A whole year!! I cant believe it. It is so amazing to see how 

much she has changed in a year, even in just 6 months! 

Not long ago she was just learning to crawl and here she is, a true toddler. 

Walking everywhere her little legs will take her.

She looks so cute when she is walking!! Our baby big girl... growing up so fast!!

She is almost 13 months old now!! So many new things for us to learn. 

She already has a ginormous vocabulary... about 27 words so far!! 

(Adding more everyday) That is incredible!! We have been watching our 

"your baby can read videos" and reading the books that go with them. I

ts amazing to see how fast she picks things up. She tries to repeat every 

word she hears (which has caused Daddy and I- but especially Daddy- 

to learn to watch what we say around her.)

We all dressed up and hit a couple houses on our street just for fun.

She wasnt too sure what to think, but she had fun still.

Trick or treating really isnt what it was when we were kids. But its still all about the fun.
